Bursa UludaÄŸ University (BUU) is a public university founded in 1975. BUU, has 15 Faculties, 3 Colleges, 15 Vocational Schools, 1 Conservatory, 4 Institutes, 30 Application and Research Centers, and 1 Technology Transfer Office. The University is located in Bursa, one of the largest industrial cities of Türkiye. BUU, the university with one of the highest number of students in Türkiye, has 63699 undergraduate/associate degree students, 5506 master students, 2301 doctoral students, in addition to 2554 academic staff, 2134 staff, 347 contractual staff, and 1782 permanent workers. BUU provides education in 17 priority areas defined by The Council of Higher Education, such as Eastern Mediterranean Studies, hydrocarbon studies, vaccination, artificial intelligence, etc., which are also important subjects in the international academic and political agenda. In line with this, BUU is labeled as a Research University by the Council of Higher Education among the top 23 research universities (among 207 Turkish universities) based on academic competence and cooperation with international partners.

IÉSEG, founded in 1964, is a non-profit association (law 1901), member of the Université Catholique de Lille, of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles and of the FESIC (Federation of Higher Education Institutions of Collective Interest). Interms of international recognition, since 2016, IÉSEG has held the “Triple Crown” of international accreditations (less than 1% worldwide): EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA. As of the academic year 2022-2023, IÉSEG has 7,450 students on our two campuses (Lille and Paris), 186 permanent professors, and more than 500 adjunct professors. IÉSEG offers more than 20 degree programs on the Lille and Paris-La Défense campuses: Grande École Program, 3-year Bachelors, Specialized Masters, Executive Masters, MBA, as well as Executive Education opportunities. IÉSEG is part of the very select club of French Grandes Écoles. It is recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research as an Institution and its programs have the Grade de licence (Bachelor in International Business) or a Grade de master (Grande École Program and Diploma of Specialized Studies in International Management – DESMI). Since 1997, the School has also been a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE), which currently includes 38 other management schools.

January 1st, 1991 is the day of the official start of Klaipeda University's (hereafter-KU) activities. This is the date that granted the city of Klaipeda the status of a university city and that opened up more opportunities for the region of Western Lithuania and its residents to pursue a university education and a career in science. KU is a multifunctional centre of science, arts and studies of Lithuania - the maritime state and the Baltic Sea region, promoting the harmonious development of western Lithuania and the city of KlaipÄ—da, nurturing culture and humanistic values. KU gives priority attention to marine scientific research, the creation of the knowledge core of the Sea Valley, and equally develops scientific research and studies in the history, culture and languages, education, health and social welfare, economics and politics, communications, arts and artistic creativity of the Baltic Sea region. KU is a dynamic, growing multidisciplinary university that over more than three decades has refined the directions of scientific and academic activities. The University boasts two research institutes: the Institute of Baltic Region History and Archaeology and Marine Research Institute, where a large number of researchers concentrate on research and simultaneously teach students. The three faculties – those of Marine Technology and Natural Sciences, of Social Sciences and Humanities, and of Health Sciences – are the divisions where academic spirit predominates and scientific projects are developed.

UGR

The UGR (founded in 1531) is a public comprehensive research university with ca. 55,000 students, 3,700 academics and 2,600 administrative and support staff. Its 26 Faculties and Schools and 124 Departments offer 96 undergraduate degrees, 164 master's degrees and 28 doctoral programmes organized in 3 overarching doctoral schools. It has 19 research institutes and over 400 research teams working in all disciplinary fields. The UGR is currently ranked 2nd in Spain according to the Shanghai ranking (2023) and is the leading regional university in the south of Spain, with 7 disciplines appearing in the top 200. As a public higher education institution, it is committed not only to quality and excellence in education, learning and research but also to activities targeting the transfer of scientific, technical and artistic knowledge to society, the betterment of society and a sustainable future for the planet. The UGR regards internationalization as a policy priority. It has been a leading participant in the Erasmus mobility scheme from its outset, in recognition of which it received the Erasmus Gold Star Award in 2007, and continues to be the top university in incoming and outgoing student mobility today. It also has a large worldwide mobility programme for students and staff financed by the UGR's own Internationalization Fund.
