ABOUT OUR PROJECT

Project Overview

The project aims to prepare EAS students for the green transition in terms of green knowledge, skills and careers. Links between program priorities and the Project have been established for this purpose. The project focuses on identifying green jobs and occupations related to the selected horizontal priority. It aims to identify the skills needs related to these occupations and increase the competencies of EAS students for green transition. The project addresses the selected priority by focusing on education and workforce planning for green transition. The project develops a Green Career Guidance and Course Catalog for Green Curriculum to engage EAS students in green transformation. According to Skilling for the Green Transition Report, ETF (2023), beyond formal education, to offer all citizens the necessary skills for the green transition, there is a need also to mobilize all learning channels. Career guidance enables users to learn about green jobs and motivates them towards green jobs and sectors. To fight against environmental problems and climate change, environmental awareness should be integrated into all curricula. Curricula adjusted to the green transition meet skills requirements of the labour market.
